Day 1
Fly overnight from London to either Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to connect to Iguazu Falls, arriving at Foz do Iguacu airport (on the Brazilian side).
Day 2
Arrive in Foz do Iguacu on the Brazilian side of the Falls and explore the pathways on the Brazilian side. Then cross the border into Argentina, to arrive in Puerto Iguazu, your base for the next two nights.
Day 3
Discover Iguazu Falls from the Argentine side, and its extensive network of pathways. Explore tropical forest leading to the Devil's Throat and walk across the bridge that takes you almost to the very edge.
Day 4
Take a small aircraft flight from Puerto Iguazu direct to your lodge at the heart of the Esteros del Ibera wetlands, a haven for birds and unique mammals, your base for explorations for three nights.
Day 5
Take a boat trip through the marshes to spot stunning birds such as Kingfishers and Jabiru storks and look out for caiman and capybara hiding among the reeds, followed by an alfresco asado lunch.
Day 6
Exploring the grasslands is perfect on horseback - no skills needed - on a leisurely hack. Take an evening drive out to spot monkeys and nocturnal creatures after a leisurely sundowner.
Day 7
Another beautiful small aircraft flight skimming over the marshes as deer look up brings you back to Posadas. Fly to Buenos Aires, the elegant and cosmopolitan capital city of Argentina for some urban chic.
Day 8
Take a private guided tour of the city today exploring its contrasts from modern port at Madero to leafy Parisian style boulevards in Recoleta and the colourful La Boca neighbourhood.
Day 9
Head south to Trelew to transfer to Puerto Madryn, your base for exploring incredible wildlife on Peninsula Valdes. Explore the penguin colony at Punta Tombo and Gaiman Welsh community.
Day 10
Arrive in Piramides to head out by boat looking for Southern Right whales (Jul-Nov) that flock here in season and then explore the vast Valdes coastline and its colonies of elephant seals and sealions.
Day 11
Return from Puerto Madryn to Trelew to fly to El Calafate, home of the impressive Glaciers National Park, on the shores of Lake Argentino for achance to explore southern Patagonia.
Day 12
Join a small group trip to explore the largest glacier in the park, Perito Moreno, admiring its ice-mass from a series of walkways and taking a boat trip out to get a closer view.
Day 13
Today cross Lake Argentino to arrive at Estancia Cristina, a traditional Patagonian ranch. Admire stunning views of Upsala Glacier and explore the rugged terrain by 4wd and on foot.
Day 14
Leave the beautiful and wild Patagonian steppe behind today as you return by air to Buenos Aires. End your trip in style at a dramatic and colourful professional Tango show, dinner included.
Day 15
It's time to head home. Transfer from your hotel to the airport. Fly from Buenos Aires via direct international flight back to London, travelling overnight.

Arrive first in Iguazu for an exhilarating start as you experience not just the falls themselves but the unique birds and butterflies of the jungle. A breath-taking flight skims over the wetlands for incredible aerial views of the vast savannah as you explore Ibera and its unique wildlife species from a remote lodge. You have a short stop in the city before moving on to the rugged Peninsula Valdes to observe colonies of penguins and elephant seals, as well as whales in season. A final stop in the beautiful Glaciers National Park finishes a really spectacular journey in style.
