Lares de Chacras is a lovely small property with a real home from home feeling and yet still pampers you like a hotel guest! It is located in Chacras de Coria, a southern suburb 15km from downtown Mendoza so a good central location for independent exploration as well. You don’t need transport here as there is a variety of shops and restaurants walking distance away. You can also bike out to neighbouring wineries, as it is simple to get out of town and into the surrounding vineyards. The ambience here is intimate and cosy, with the use of Andean stone and wood giving it an inviting country-style feeling.

There are only a handful of rooms, with the ground floor ones opening out into the garden and the second floor ones with a private balcony. Set in the gardens are a small pool and hot tub for a place to unwind or head to the wine bar and cellar to choose from a selection of local labels to try. There is a restaurant onsite where you can also dine alfresco as they have a barbeque area with grill and clay oven for some classic Argentine cuisine. There is also a massage room with garden view and a cosy indoor lounge with fireplace for winter evenings.
